last week was definitely one amazing week.
[esby] apparel launched on the crowd funding site, Kickstarter.com, last Tuesday with great success. we've already received a lot of pre-orders for season one! so many, in fact, that [esby] hit it's funding goal of $10,000 on day TWO of our 30 day campaign. today--one week later, we are 160% funded, and still going strong.
in order to keep momentum, we are trying for a stretch goal of $50,000!!! we figure…why not just go for it??
there are still a lot of season one styles available for pre-order through the Kickstarter campaign. and don’t forget- once the campaign ends, [esby] won't be available for purchase anywhere else until early summer!
by raising $50,000, [esby] will be even closer to becoming a full time business. as the sole owner and only employee, I would love to be able to take [esby] to the next level. i want to have inventory ready to go as soon as possible, get [esby] stocked in stores and online at esbyapparel.com, and move quickly towards [esby] season two.
with the reaction the campaign has received so far, i know this is possible!
i have been blown away by the amazing response in just one week. i have already received interest from boutiques across the nation that want to stock [ebsy], read emails from many fans of the line, and i was even asked to speak to a entrepreneurial grad school class about the Kickstarter process.
and there are still THREE MORE WEEKS TO GO! the project will end on march 6th.
i really think [esby] can do it, but [esby] can’t do it without YOUR help!
it's been a long, fun, thrilling, ride launching [esby] so far -- let's see where we can land. please continue to share with anyone you think might be interested in supporting this small american brand. thank you again for all of the support and making my dream come true.
